Mezzo-Soprano Erika Vasallo will be singing as the Alto Soloist and will also sing in the chorus in Rossini’s Stabat Mater. Admission is free, come and enjoy Rossini’s beautifully-written Stabat Mater on May 22nd/23rd.

Rossini brought the same emotional intensity to the Stabat Mater that he brought to his operas. After the premiere in 1842, the Stabat Mater was performed no less than twenty-nine times in its first year, a magnificent success.
